If you are ten years old or younger, be a part of the very first S.T.A.R. illustration competition by submitting your original artwork highlighting, "Me and My Book!"

The purpose of this competition is to encourage kids to read and to cultivate their God-given artistic abilities.

The illustration receiving the most votes will be showcased on the S.T.A.R. for Kids™ web site and will receive a $75 gift pack of CobbleKids™ books and products and a $500 U.S. Savings Bond. Two finalists will receive a $75 CobbleKids™ gift Pack.

Deadline for entries is: November 15, 2002.
The winner and finalists
will be notified in writing.

Submitting Art

Art Contest Rules:

1. Must be ten years old or younger.
   
   
2. You may send your entries by email or regular mail, on or before November 15, 2002.

   Please do not bend your artwork and include a self-addressed, stamped envelope if you wish your artwork returned.
   
   Or you may send your entries by email in .gif or .jpg format to info@lollipoppublishing.com.
   
   
3. Please limit your entries to one illustration per child per competition period.
   
   
4. Include for all entries the following:
   1. Artist's first and last name, address,
      phone number, and e-mail address.
   2. Age at the time the artwork was completed.
   3. Medium used.
   4. Title of artwork including a brief written description.
      
      
5. By submitting your artwork, you agree to the following statement:

   By submitting my artwork and/or other materials to Lollipop Publishing, L.L.C., I grant permission for these materials to be reproduced and publicly displayed by Lollipop Publishing. I certify that I created these materials and have the right to provide them to you for reproduction and display.

6. All entries become the property of Lollipop Publishing and may be used by Lollipop Publishing in any and all media now known or hereafter developed for non-commercial and commercial purposes alike.

7. A minimum of ten entries are required in order for official judging to take place. If this minimum is not met, then all entries received will be automatically re-entered into the subsequent competition period.
